Depart on South African Airways flight to South Africa Airways flight to Cape Town.

Met on arrival by the Somak representative and transferred to your hotel of your choice.

Day 3/Tuesday                                                  Cape Town - City tour

Enjoy a guided tour of the City.  The tour gives you the opportunity to discover the spirit of the Mother City, experience her vibrant cultures and history and enjoy botanical scenery.  Visit the City center, the Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope and the Malay quarters. Weather permitting take Table Mountain by cable car to view the city underneath (the cost of the cable car ticket is not included as the excursion is weather dependant). Your last stop is at the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront where you may choose to return to the hotel or  stay to explore the bustling shops and restaurants. With more than 300 specialty stores, craft markets and 70 eateries, the V&A Waterfront opens a world of opportunities to shoppers and diners alike. (B)

Day 4/Wednesday                                           Cape Town - Cape Winelands tour

Depart for the full-day experience of the famous Cape Wineland with its historic homesteads, sprawling vineyards and the quaint tree-lined village streets. Your tour begins with a drive to Paarl, offering historical charm, culture, architectural heritage, wine and fruit farms and breathtaking scenery. Continue along the Berg River valley to the picturesque town of Franschhoek have the opportunity of walking through the quaint village. Next stop is at the historic University town of Stellenbosch, the oldest town in the country after Cape Town and is one of the most scenic and historically-preserved towns in southern Africa. During the course of the day there will be ample opportunity to taste some of the magnificent wines produced in this region and also to enjoy lunch (which is on your own account). Late afternoon return to Cape Town and your hotel.  (B)

Day 5/Thursday                                                 Cape Town - Cape Peninsula Tour

Today enjoy the scenic drive along the Atlantic Coastline, to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. This exciting  tour takes in all the important sights of the Cape Peninsula in one full day. Travel from the hotel  via Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay to Hout Bay Harbor.  In Hout Bay you may opt for a boat cruise to seal island (extra cost).  Crossing over the mountain at Constantia Neck travel to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. At Cape Point one can walk / take the funicular up to the look-out point for a panoramic view of the dramatic South Western edge of Africa. From Cape Point travel to Boulder's Beach, a cluster of beaches situated amongst huge granite boulders, forming a protected shoreline, which is home to one of only two penguin colonies on the False Bay coast. Lunch (own account) is enjoyed en route. From Boulders Beach visit the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before returning to the City and your Hotel

Day 6/Friday                                        Kruger National Park  or Private Game Reserve

After breakfast transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit. On arrival you will be met by the lodge's driver and transfer to the accommodation of your choice.  Enjoy an afternoon game drive in open 4X4 vehicles with experienced rangers and trackers with chances of spotting one of the Big Fives. Day 8/Sunday                                              Johannesburg

Depending on your flight departure time, you may have the opportunity to enjoy a morning game drive. After breakfast transfer to the airport for the flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel of your choice. The rest of the day is at your leisure. (B)

Day 9/Monday                                             Livingstone , Zambia (Victoria Falls)

Transfer to Johannesburg for the flight to Livingstone in Zambia. On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel of your choice. In the evening transfer to the jetty for the sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The cruise is along the river boundary of the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park, around Siloka Island and back to The Waterfront jetty. The total cruise time is approximately 2.5 hours. From the boat, sightings of elephant, giraffe and even rhino coming down to the river to drink are common. There are also abundant, hippos, crocodiles and birdlife. Aboard the boat there is complimentary bar and serve freshly baked snacks. An experienced guide accompanies cruise and has good knowledge on the wildlife and local history of the area. (B)

Day 10/Tuesday                                     Livingstone, Zambia (Victoria Falls)

After breakfast depart on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world. This walking tour takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the fall. Remainder of the day at leisure – return to the fall on your own (guests of the hotel have unlimited access), take an optional tour into the town or to a local village or relax at the hotel. There are a number of optional excursions available to fill your day: try a helicopter flight over the falls (flight of the angels), whitewater river rafting, gameviewing  on land or by boat, or a cultural visit to Chief Mukuni's village.
